Robert "Bobby" Lee Cummings
Funeral services for Mr. Cummings will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 at Sellars Funeral Home in Mt. Juliet with Chaplain Paul Gunn officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 12 from 4-8 p.m. and from 12-2 p.m. on the day of services.
Mr. Cummings, 66, of Mt. Juliet, died Friday, June 8.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Don and Iva F. Cummings. He was born in Hastings, Neb. After his graduation he joined the military where he served as Military Police and then in the Army National Guard as a Sergeant in the 401st MP POW Camp. He was also a founding member of the Nashville Songwriters Association. Along with his love for music and songwriting, he was an Antiquarian and had his own antique shop.
Survivors include: sisters, Barbara Cummings, Debbie (Mike) Foust; brother, Donny (Cheryl) Cummings; along with many nephews, nieces and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Ray Armstrong, Dave Gibson, David Gibson Jr., Kevin Grant, Mike Rivers, Chris Zamora, Joe Smith and Joshua Foust. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Ricks, Mike and Travis Foust and Bryan Reese.
Beverley C. Sutton
Services for Mrs. Sutton will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at Cooks United Methodist Church in Mt. Juliet. Interment will be in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 7 at Sellars Funeral Home in Mt. Juliet, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 8 at the funeral home, and 10 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Sutton, 77, of Mt. Juliet died Tuesday, June 5, 2012.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Herbert C. and Harriett P. Coleman; brother, Herbert Coleman, Jr.; sons, Ricky and Wayne Sutton; and foster daughter, Cindy Shaver.
Survivors include: husband of 58 years, Harold W. Sutton; daughter, Ramona Sutton; grandchildren, Meredith, Marlee, Austin, and Kendyl; and many extended family members and life-long friends.
Pallbearers will be Joseph and Michael Barrett, Tony Malkiewicz, Austin Auld, Robert Campbell, Jimmy Smith, Eddie Graves, Herbert Sutton and Dale Carver. Honorary Pallbearers will be 3rd floor Oncology, Sarah Cannon nurses, Alive Hospice, Randall and Peggy Clemmons and all Granville, Tenn. friends.
At the family's request, memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice or the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at Centennial.
